Jerry Brito: Top ten myths about introverts →
jerrybrito:
Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to…

THE DAILY PHIL
So, the other day Matt, Phil, and I were at a bar. There were billiards involved. As said billiards were being played, a couple of moderately attractive ladies started up a game of pool next to us (this is important later). After a few games of pool, Matt, Phil, and I decided to finish off our drinks, pay our tabs, and carry on our merry way. While Matt was paying his tab, one of the girls started...

THE DAILY PHIL
episode 3
Yet again, I wasn’t personally present to witness this one, but one of the co-ops told me about it.
Last night, all of the co-ops and a bunch of interns met up at Christina and Britney’s apartment for the weekly dinner that they cook. At some time during the night, Darrin (Darrin is African American… I’m not racist, but this does play into the...

The Daily Phil
Number 2
After a week or so of not posting anything about the situation with Phil, it has occurred to me that one of two things is happening.
1.) I am getting better at ignoring Phil’s lack of social skills
2.) Phil is getting slightly better at picking up on things happening in the evolving social world around him.
The point of that was to say that Phil has gotten more bearable....
THE DAILY PHIL
So Today’s Daily Phil happened at lunch in Building 13.
Phil, Matt, and I were all sitting at a table and a few of the co-ops from another table decided to join us. For the most part, we were all getting to know each other a little and trying to find out what was worth doing in Mt. Vernon Indiana. Someone mentioned something about a keg party that had happend a couple of weekends ago and...
The Daily Phil
THE INTRODUCTION
So… where to begin.
This summer I have the privilage of working at SABIC innovative plastics as a technology intern. I won’t go into the boring details of how I acquired this position because it’s not really important. What is important however, is that I have a roommate named Phil… and he was homeschooled until highschool. However, instead of trying...

Why i hate trucks...
at 1:30 this morning I decided i wanted to go get some taco bell. I went out to my car and to my astonishment/horor, I found that my front bumper had been pretty much detatched from my car. Luckily though, the dude that hit my car filed a report and insurance will take care of it. Turns out, the dude was driving a 4x4 truck and came around the corner of the parking lot where I was parked and his...
Love Through the Eyes of a Pyro.
Recently, I’ve been doing some thinking about love. Many people relate love to fire ( burning with passion, rekindle an old flame, etc.) Funny thing about fire is that it needs two things to burn: fuel and oxygen. If you have too much of either of these things, you end up putting out your fire. Consider, if you will, the beginnings of a campfire. If you throw too many sticks onto the camp...
